The OGC API Common version 1.0 Specification outlines requirements for implementing GeoSpatial APIs. However, Part 1 of the specification is more general and could be used for any API. The core describes the use of HTTP Protocol and Status codes for APIs. The core also describes other common requirements such as Landing Pages, Encoding Formats and API documentation.
